There’s a forums! Tbh, at first glance it looks like a Reddit alternative and there’s like 15,500 members (approx) but still pretty cool in general. After the first day I got like 3-4 followers/friends fairly quickly, and those followers that DMed me really only used the forums. Tbh it’s worth joining if you really wanna keep conversations private or basically do reddit-style shit on there, but nonetheless pretty decent.
