Yeah for sure, if I can figure out a good way to get the blocks to break I was considering doing this when TNT goes off, but the getting hurt part of it might be a little harder to do and would probably take more performance for a mobile device – keep the ideas coming though I really appreciate it 😀

That’s kinda like a slow time thing that I was considering, the only problem is the game is distance based so if I slow down time, they can’t get as much distance in that time, would still be cool af though so I’ll think about it – Magnet is a great idea and it’s something I’m planning on adding and a shield is already in the game I just haven’t showed it off because it’s more of a place-holder graphic at the moment

Absolutely it will, for this I’ve just paused the water so I could test the physics of the objects I just added

Did some more work on the game, this time ice and moving platforms – It’s coming along – If anyone has any more obstacle or power-up ideas I’d love to hear them!

Agreed for sure, camera shake on tnt explosions will probably be a thing, complete chaos sounds fun as hell I just gotta be careful for mobile devices and make sure what I\’m doing won\’t lag the game

Well I\’ll probably stick with 2D for this game, but I am considering attempting some 3D stuff after so I might have to take you up on that at some point

Seems rather too calm. I hope the longer you progress the bigger chaos will ensure
Absolutely it will, for this I’ve just paused the water so I could test the physics of the objects I just added
Doesn’t seems like this was added but how about some boosters? Like they could push players down, up, to side etc. Maybe if they get enough speed then they can break through wall like I said before
Also some levels of low to high boosts to conserve space. In case someone would have to use booster that breaks block below to get around a wall to then climb above or smth
Yeah that’s a great idea, I had thought of like a spring board object but I only thought about it for going up, I hadn’t considered it could be cool to have it be used by the player to reach long gaps or have it punish the player by pushing them downwards, thanks Arc!
Skins
Every great game needs skins
Absolutely, skins are in the works I think I have at least 20 I’ll have to check
What if in a hard mode(if there is one) you could add deadly surfaces like lava or acid?
That’s an awesome idea, I have spikes which are almost the same where if you touched them you’re dead, but I do like the idea of a wall covered in acid haha
besides getting faster I’d say that when you reach a certain point the blocks break from TNT and you could get hurt from it.
Yeah for sure, if I can figure out a good way to get the blocks to break I was considering doing this when TNT goes off, but the getting hurt part of it might be a little harder to do and would probably take more performance for a mobile device – keep the ideas coming though I really appreciate it 😀
Okay cool.
Also,
Seen or Shawn?
“Shawn” 😀

What about a power up that sows down the screen movement for a short period? So like a clock. Also also maybe like a shield for an extra hit and a magnet to collect coins if you don’t have that already.
Another idea I had is if certain skins had certain abilities. Like one would start off with a shield or another would have a slight speed boost.
That’s a really good idea – would have to make Sean OP as hell… also make Ralph have negative power-ups 😀
