the general understanding is you really don’t have to “ask” for permission, but when you use someone’s model as base and resubmit, it needs to be decently edited/have a good reason, and of course, give credit
in this case he didn’t give credit, and I changed the co-author and links earlier today, but if you really don’t like he used your model’s head as a base I can remove it
