@ralph Would something like this be accepted?
All the filters and blurs and such are all made entirely with sn with better blur on, and is (mostly as a tiny bit barely bleeds out) is inside the character i also followed all the other rules (i think) too soo

    • Gave it a black bg so itd be alot clearer what it would look like transparently (since the basic bg in the site is white and kinda hides everything, but the actual submission will be transparent dw)

So ig id also add on the question: is better blur allowed?

The rules say no aura etc. You can use blur but just don’t go too overboard.

Ralph will prob do some post-editing with it prob and just add an outline or some bevel shit so that’s prob why he doesn’t want people to go too hard with these.

Tbf, i gave him a thick outline and the cape so i can do all this without any actual “aura” type stuff happening but the blur may be the make or break of this thing though…

And i did do some the same stuff with my original scout splash (just not as flashy) and that was accepted soo

Notice though how more specific the rules have gotten. Prob because people went *that* overboard with effects etc. So the new rules might be a bit more strict.

Though I’m like 95% sure basic outline is actually fine lol.

True, the new rules is the reason i asked this time. I most def Wouldn’t if the rules stayed the same

part of the issue is i noticed SN really doesn’t export transparent pixels well at all

so the blue glow here will end up being mostly white

gay as shit who programmed this crap

but @ scout, yeah, there’s clearly a lot of blue glow around the dude, thats the type of thing that needs to be avoided, unless it looks good exported as a transparent PNG (export it and overlay it on something black, is it good – the export quality might be device specific)

Tried it, the bleeding glow doesn’t seem to be very noticeable, and the thick white outlines hide it pretty well

Atleast its not as bad as the one i sent you before trolololol

Okay but what if we add the glow that SN sucks ass at via post editing-

i wanna allow that but then it doesn’t represent SN accurately which is part of the point of showcasing all the cool OCs

kinda mad @ i didn’t really consider this beforehand and put a quick update out to maybe fix this

                  so, basically ralph being ralph
