Archangel X is a series about a demon-human hybrid, the last of his kind, named Wrath. Throughout most of his life he was hunted down by agents of a false god. After he was mentally ruined by the lack of a normal life, he seeks to destroy god himself.

I grew up with Devil May Cry instead.
Both equally pretty great games, Devil May Cry, a very respectable choice of game right there my friend.
