(just my opinion, dont get so worked up about it. i just like games that involve more skill rather than luck.)

Also, the game does require skill. Give an average player a rocket launcher and they have a pretty high chance they’ll blow themselves sky high with it

The only rhg is what loot you find, where the storm is and where the bus flys by, almost everything else is your own skill.
If you only get pistols one round, git gud with the pistol so you don’t get shredded.
There’s in fact a lot of skill in it, it takes a lot of concentration to take down two people in fursuits shooting at you with heavy shotguns while you have to jump around like a madman, building around you AND simultaneously trying to fight back.
Most people who are bad at Fortnite will say it’s cause it requires luck, i was the same. Then i got good.
not from what i know, it uses something called bluemoon (i think thats what its called) instead of hitscan. basically bluemoon makes it so you can be at point blank, and still miss, making the game mostly on luck. you see, epic games doesnt actually like games that require skill, so they like to put as much luck as they can. there is still a bunch skill in the game, including building and traps.
