Okay so, I have noticed I am a bit over weight. I’m starting to get a bit fat and big. This has been weighing on my mind for a while, I’ve been thinking on dieting and working out. I’ve been telling my parents about this and now my dad is going to wake me up 3 days a week at 3:00 in the morning. Take me to the gym, and workout until 6:00 AM. So yeah, I might not be as active on the site as I used to. But I can still do logs and other stuff so yeah.

    • That’s really good, what I find with any training however is don’t let the scene of it or your ego get the best of you.

Waking up at 3am, training for 3 hours etc sounds epic but realistically is very difficult and most gym sessions shouldn’t surpass around 90 minutes to 120 minutes. If you mix cardio, weight-lifting both heavy and light you can cram for 90 minutes but even then if you’re a beginner start with learning things, try exercise routines, just experiment and try and master the form and technique of the lifts, exercises and more.

I won’t talk your ear off too much now but if you ever need advice I have a wide source of information and more that I have accumulated from my 4 years in training, I’ve done different things all throughout from martial arts, to calisthenics, to cardio, to weight, to functional training yada yada yada. There’s a lot to learn with training and more and getting your information where you can is very important, try not to favour one type of training or one idea. Like I said, try and do different things but most importantly pace yourself, stay consistent, persevere and try and understand what you’re doing and how it works.

      Good luck

    • I have been in your place dude, I wasn’t really overweight, I was just weak. I took awhile to get the motivation but I know it’s possible for you to get on the grind. I’m proud of you bro, I hope to see that you do well in the future
