Design critique: what should I add/remove
(smaller, “final touch” detail suggestions only please)
Some of these might not really be small but here goes
Get rid of the grey things on his fingers
Give his feet more depth, rather than keeping them as boxes
the eyes look uncanny, I say to just give him his regular eyes
His forearms look too thick (but that could just be a drawing mistake I think?)
Make his headphones bigger
That’s all I got
Things I probably will fix:
Forearms too big? Yeah it probably is a mistake, I use vector shapes to form characters I design, and I can definitely scale it down a bit
The headphones COULD be bigger, but I just didn’t want to block any more of his chest fur than they already did.
The shoes… I could redesign them, but that would come in a later update since pretty much all the characters I design for the show have that same shoe look. It’s literally a drawing style I created called Boxshoe. But I definitely agree, they look a little lifeless.
Things I probably won’t change:
I want to keep the gray things on the fingers because they’re like, those gloves that have the fingertips on it that let you swipe on your phone better or whatever. It is unnecessary, I agree, but like I said I may not end up actually removing them.
The eyes… Nah I’m keeping the eyes lol (he may go through a redesign in the future but I don’t know)
