The stand arrow was introduced in part 4 and it just gives you a stand and heals the flesh wound of the arrow
The requiem arrow just makes your stand op as frick but the stand can get a consciousness of it’s own and just run away
(That’s what i recall because I barely remember what happened in golden wind)

I don’t think the stand can go off on its own since when polnareff hit chariot with the arrow he was technically dead and had no control over it, leading to it moving according to why it was stabbed; protecting the arrow
