I was testing out some ways to have the figure have some recoil without using skips frame, it was frustrating to figure out until I remember someone I was taking tips off of had their frames up, tried it. And surprised the recoil looked pretty decent with 15 fps. Messed around and went 60 fps for the funni but I might do 10 fps for no contact, nothing intense and 15 fps whenever there’s going to be intense gunfight with multiple figures shooting.

tbh you kinda need the skipping frames, thats what the upper one looks like bc its so fast
the bottom one loses some of the power of the rifle because its so smooth back/forth
Skipping frames helps a lot but it’s a problem whenever I’m going to animate a lot of figures with their guns shooting. Trying to find another resort so I don’t have to abuse the time skipping so much.
