im a fan of having the side be less exactly-the-side and more like slightly angled frontward
aka you should be able to see the rear shoulder/hip and front shoulder/hip when the character is turned

I have thought of those half-front half-side thing, it would really help with the specific angles I would want for a scene, though I’m not really confident with my skills in making gear that way, I’ll have to try though.
Lower shoulders a bit in relation to the neck and upper torso. Other than that, amazing!

that’s basically what all cartoons do too
