The Panhard AML-90
A French reconnaissance vehicle created near the 1950’s, it was made to replace the British Daimler Ferret when the French military realized it was unsuitable for Counter-insurgencies.

In the webtoon series called souris, a zombie virus occurred within an island called “île luciole” which translates to firefly island, it focuses on two male characters who has a goal to why they’re on the island, one of the character used to be apart of an organization called HEV.

HEV plays an antagonistic role, think of FEDRA from TLOU, but instead of trying to control the population with a cruel government system, they just murder anyone they see.

Though some would consider the HEV a force of nature, they’re kind of held back by a lot of things, their only vehicle of transport is a stripped down humvee, if they’re lucky it’s got a 50. Caliber on it, their main troops are issued a SPAS-12 or an M4, their gear only consist of a Kevlar vest and uniform, which would be enough when their only purpose was to just kill everything on the island.

But what if I add in my fantasies and gave them a little more budget? They’re more militarized and have more support to their goal?

The Panhard AML-90 is surprisingly a perfect vehicle for this situation, its armed with a deadly 90mm cannon, and it’s kinda fair game for the survivors of the island, if close enough, basic rifle rounds can penetrate the sides and back of the vehicle without much difficulty.

Originally I was going to give them an M60 but I thought it’d be overkill.
