2021-06-19 00:14:06 UTC Is it just me or do you also get the weirdest ads, it’s so backwards how some / most of these ads promote pornographic imagery, suicide, murder etc. and get away with it but over content across the internet are checked like mad for the smallest thing.
Don’t get me started on the SimplyPiano and SimplyGuitar ads.

Not sure about the suicide and murder ones, but there are plenty of sexual ones on Youtube. It’s either they don’t care or their robots don’t care.
The suicide ones are in some zombie ads on a mobile game I play, three people were going to kill themselves, noose, consuming dangerous chemicals and just getting eaten by zombies.
The murder one was in some other heaven or hell ad on YouTube they used Hitler of all people and made the person in the ad chose whether he should got to hell or heaven after killing millions of Jews.
Personally these themes don’t really annoy me but it’s the principal, so many platforms get people demonetised for saying ‘fuck’ while the ads they show are basically porn.
