@ralph once the new update is out and fixes have been made, would this be an ideal time for skins to come back around or is the next big update after that coming.
I don’t really know how to ask it but basically will skins be possible beyond the latest update.
@arcionek I should probably ask you as well

skins were always around tho-
they just got more “permament” atlases (especially the first one) that aren’t planned to be changed. Which means the previous skins should be compatible to next versions unless there’s new icons or such added to the 2nd image.
Or maybe I misunderstood the question, idk.
I’m terrible with skins so I’m a little lost myself.
I had thought that with the new update skins wouldn’t work.
skins always been a thing like arc said
also like he said they’ve become more permanent because the first 2 files will never change again, and the 3rd file will only be appended to (not shuffled) so it’s easier to add/edit existing skins
these files are
animationAtlas1.png
animationAtlas2.png
animationAtlas3.png
which you can get here
http://sticknodes.com/misc/SN310SkinBase.zip
and just put into your /Stick Nodes/skin/ folder
wait when the fuck did you add a 3rd one
Also when i decide to actually revive sticknodesskins site this link will save me time lol
lol, mainly for the new quick resize tools
i had to add a third one because i have to make it “sort alphabetically” when its generating the atlas, not the default “best fit” (which shuffles it)
so now it’s easy to add new graphics but just prepend every new update with the next letter alphabetically
you probs didn’t notice because the dark skin is just bundled with the app now so i just keep it updated
else i’d bother you to update it on the site lol
Nice, I’ve added it to a new folder called ‘skins’ under ‘Stick Nodes Pro’ as said so I imagine I just alter the values on the font hex colours along with altering the design and colour of the other interface images?
basically u do what u always had to do, there’s bunch of tutorials online.
Nothing new then, that’s good.
By the way, when editing the text file for the font on iOS do you know how to edit the file? I’m sure there are apps but I don’t know of any.
i think looking up “txt file edit” on search on the store should work sufficiently.
Of course, just thought you might have one in mind already.
