Question of the day:What genre comes to mind for you when you think of Stickfigures, basically what is the very concept of stickfigures in games, animations etc and how do you imagine it’s genre to be?
For example:
What genre of music, visuals, style of art, pacing etc

When I think of Stickfigures
I think of Sticks…
This is a very hard to answer question…
I really don’t know.
Easy, Fighting
Very early to present day stickfigure animations of stickmen beating each other up.
For me it’s early 2000s style beat em’ up animations and things, simplistic style stickfigures
Plus electronic genre music
laughed at the title
I think stickfigures would best fit cartoon-styled storytelling, for instance if you were to use Dodo Lord, he wouldn’t really look right as a 3D model. It feels more natural for him to be more on the cartoony side of things, where stuff doesn’t have to make as much sense or be physically possible to happen. Stickfigures are a good way to accomplish this, and a lot less time consuming than drawing an entire cartoon, so they’re the best choice for making stories or skits with him.
I don’t think we can confine it to one genre, there’s so many Stickfigures can embody.
It’s a form of storytelling, humor, violence, and passion.
scarves, elemental powers, and loud obnoxious dubstep
Am I the only one who completely throws all of that out of the window?
yes
i think of ralph damiano and sean byrnes
.. mostly ralph damiano
