It’s about that time to check up on our people, the ones who help make all of this possible, today’s focus: our artists.

A few days back I said that we’d give our potential artists three weeks to submit an art piece for their application, today we review our results and check-in with everyone.

So far no artwork has been put in yet which of course is not an issue, there is weeks and we all have our responsibilities and different choices of what we want to do with our time. I will say though, DG has agreed to help out so it’s just a matter of time, it’s like this for many things at the moment, site log 2024 and so on so it’s not to say he’s singled-out on this one.

Like last check-in with DG nothing has been put through as of yet but the whole thing has been sort of up-in-the-air and ItzQwerty had said he would maybe be able to do it, it’s a real challenge to join the site log effort as it takes a toll for many on their time, I know that sounds bland but trust me, myself and the contributors can attest to the time-consuming and draining act of accumulating all the info of the day and gift-wrapping it to the site, every single day for almost a whole year.

Some brighter news on this one as Asry has already completed their entry and it looks great, the main thing with all of this isn’t the sheer artistic quality and detail of it all but much rather the consistency and effort, Asry has delivered. Not just the art but also their contribution towards helping us out as a contributor next year so I just wanted to give a big thanks to Asry for all their help.

Now for our last contestant.. Chino. More good news on this one as Chino too has in fact delivered and with a very nice stylised approach to their artwork, I look forward to seeing what else they produce towards our effort. Thank you and nice work Chino!

I didn’t include some last-minute applicants such as @thinkgames246 due to the nature of the potential recruitment, it’s nothing personal of course but until I know 100% they can help out it’s too slippy to start setting up check-ups and such. I just want to take a moment to also talk about the failed participants, currently Epic Animations. It’s unfortunate that I have to turn down someone’s work but to call it that is a little fake and the quality and styling was non-existent but there is no truth in them not being able to improve so keep practicing and good luck to you.
