Site’s felt especially quiet lately, which is a given of course as any social media will be that way. It had me thinking just how much of the community there really is and whether there is much differentiation between them in terms of what is said or seen etc.
I’m honestly just open to the site being more of a source for people to flock to, but not only do I think the site would crash if there were that many people, posting that much, consistently, but also just whether it would last or whether the site could have an overhaul.
I agree, rn we only have like 10 or 15 main people that regularly post here

I’d say that while the site is the main hub for sn, it’s still lacking in some ways, otherwise it would probably be discord, but to make this the main hub for an would be simple in my eyes. i would mainly just add an easier way to add videos to your posts would be a good way to make everybody want to actually visit the site more, I know I’ve been having issues with that, and also

honestly, yeah.
and i feel like this has been an ongoing thing for quite some time, but year after year the ¨disconnect¨ , i suppose, is getting bigger and bigger and its honestly to the point to where if your in the right places on discord and such- you’ll never have to touch this place agian! which, ohh i can hear the cheers now and all the ¨ralph sucks!! site can burn!´´ chanting but… its more than that,
if it wernt for this place- none of us would be here, none of us would know eachother, and none of us would have been able to grow our roots, none of it would have occurred.
i feel like this place is taken for granted, there are definitely some valid criticisms here and there but for the most part- if this place were given true care and support (As in internally), it could aid that, just a little.
but beyond that i cant really say much, besides the fact i feel that way too.
and just to throw it out there, someday, when i master my coding skills, id be a 1000% willing to improve this place, hell even beyond coding. i have a whole list of things i would do if i had enough ¨power¨ or ¨influence¨ here or whatever, but i believe im already doing that- just on a smaller scale.
i wont ever loose my hope though, you never know how things turn out after all.
Little off topic here, but where even are these “right” places on discord you guys talk so much about.
Im pretty much at every sticknodes discord server there is and will be, yet the only recognizable faces i see are in the staff chat for the site log.
Maybe the official stick nodes discord since I see a lot of people I know there but even then I barely go on there so it could very well be ass and I just have no idea
I feel like its something along the lines of what you said, being in those servers.
But also more small scale “local” servers, like a mini slice of the community.
Ultimately I’m just saying what I think, ultamately- I’m not even sure if I’m in all the “right” servers or whatever, I mean what I was really trying to convey was the fact that you can completely separate yourself from this place if you wanted to, but this isn’t a bad thing to think about.
It doesn’t really matter because you don’t know your there until you are.

I’m talking about social hubs, not skill specific individuals.
For example, we have the community split between Discord, Twitter, Reddit and likely a pleothera of other locations.
oh I thought you meant like people on different animation platforms
Honestly I feel like the only sense of community on the site is the drama because everybody posts about it, nothing else, not even a collab (unless if it’s an official one or one from a popular person here)
