2019-07-17 20:54:23 UTC Minecraft… It was fun when I was younger and is still a bit fun now, but there is only so much you can do. I know it says infinite possibilities but with infinite possibilities comes infinite boredom, that’s where I am at. There is also so many games out there with a better backstory and everything but instead everyone wants to play a game where you build stuff etc. and fight some of the most dull bosses ever along with crappiest monsters ever.
I respect everyone else’s opinion on Minecraft but personally I dislike it a lot, mainly because of lack of fun, gripping gameplay, it’s more of a slow boring journey in my opinion.

I am going to have to partially agree with this. It is kind of fun with friends but thats pretty much the full extent of fun for me.
OG alpha 1.3 player here. I agree to some extent. Game gets bit tedious for some. For me, I kinda lost the taste for survival games at this point. Mainly cause my friends tortured me with terraria and grindy games.
It’s fun sometimes, other times it’s frustrating. Tho I also am growing out of games slightly.
Same, I have played so many games at this point and completed them that I am bored of most of them.
I didn’t complete much. Have a lot in library but simply fire ran out and most of time I just want to make progress on projects I never could do. Tho amino drags me down still :/

redstone is pretty fun once you get the hang of it
i spent like 3 hours making my first 3×3 door
if redstone’s not your thing, why not try building something?
survival isn’t the entire game
if survival gets boring, install a mod
that’s the beauty of minecraft
it’s whatever you want it to be
you can do whatever you want with it
and nothing’s stopping you
I’ve done all of that apart from Mod, I don’t play on PC nor will I. I’d rather not play it again for a long while. I used to do commands and redstone but I still got bored, I tried everything.
Why not on PC?

you get access to so many more servers, mods, texture maps, custom maps, and just stuff in general
