My favourite point was around Soupboi, Khloe time, the site felt at it’s peak for me and it was fun to look through.
Now it’s filled more with younger users who post random things, there is still decent content although it’d be nice to see a new roster of interesting users.
that wasn’t even that long ago lmao, what, 2 months?
site’s always changing tho, and look how fast
watch like – June of next year
there will be a whole new group of dudes that aren’t here now and it’ll feel as if they been here forever
as for my answer
…hmm
i think im biased because i have expectations for the near future (website upgrades coming soon, some neat app changes, etc) so the current/now is most exciting for me
but the pre /activity/ era will always hold a special place in my heart
where the damn about-us page was the main communication hub for…years
because nobody ever expected this little website to become a small social media feed lol, including me
I left for a long time, but I believe the site was at its peak when I joined, many well-respected users interacted with others, and a lot of missed users were active as well. A lot of the groups that had “impact” on the community were in their prime, and I generally enjoyed it for the most part.
My opinion now is the website has kinda just become a shell of its former self. There’s a lot of new and annoying users, and it’s just not as…fun. I still enjoy the community, but if we could go back to 2018-2019, I think I would enjoy it better.
That’s true.
i just want the site to return itself to the good times with people like soup and other great users…i mean, out of all newbies here i seem like a good candidate for being a legendary user. like you, soup, jack, explosive bullet, k-zilla, etc.
I enjoyed the site during 2018-2019. The site now is okay, I guess.
2020 is sticknodes best year for me. The site was still good back in 2017-18, but it had some pretty assholeish users. Now adays it seems nicer, and rules were put in place against toxicity. Now of course, even though this place is not perfect, people still complain somehow. Like, some people are saying this place is “toxic” or “was better in the old days” needs to learn to think before they speak honestly (not saying that in any sort of aggressive way btw, I’m just saying that they should look back on how toxic the site was pre 2019.) In the end, Ralph has made a nice and tight knit community that I think I’ll never abandon.
Yeah, I’ve gotta agree with you. The site is definitely a more chill and peaceful place, with significantly less deliberately targeted hate and rudeness. Only problem is that it’s also way less animation oriented.
User Banned
Back in March to April, it was a good time for me and some users like K-Zilla, Littleman, MAB, AutoAngel and a few users were popular back then, But now it went downfall in August
Your still sorta popular
the peak of it for me is before my auto correct incident happened
a few users kinda hate me now because of it but skele freak fogave and hopefully forgot
no
only 2019 I haven’t been here for long but this site has been kinda boring in 2020 and just a lot of 7 yr old idiots spamming makes me kinda frustrated but we were all annoying once i guess
^
what he said
i guess around early 2018 or whatever, around the time i joined, i may be silent and no one knew me till now, but even though i have accomplished so much now in 2020 i still feel like my early days where the best
2019 was great it was actually a community and there was a ton of collabs and stick nodes stuff.
Now there’s a bit much of repetitive memes that its not really funny anymore. Then there’s all those spammers around here and there. Basically reddit at a perspective
There are still stick nodes stuff but its not the majority of the posts like it used to be.
Man, my opinion on the site is really, really complicated and conflicting. On one hand, I remember the site when I first joined being pretty okay, but there was a lot of explicit toxicity and large scale drama, and I was the annoying new user that nobody cared about. But now, there isn’t nearly as much drama and targeted anger, but there are a ton of new users who are annoying and do things unrelated to Stick Nodes on here. The thing is, I remember being exactly like that. I remember being the annoying young user that’s only 11 years old and is still annoying and obnoxious, with the attention span of a hamster. I know exactly why they are doing what they do, but I am still bothered by it. And then you also have to think about my reputation on the site. I used to be fairly unknown, only being recognized by a few people who liked my Dragon Ball Z stickfigures. But as I improved, more people on the site knew who I was, and they would ask me to do things for them, thinking I was some kind of artist who could make anything for them. Its gotten better since I started uploading less, but not by much. Overall, there are too many factors for me to think about, and this site holds a weird place in my opinion.
