So like, using a remake made by somebody else?
Yeah, pretty much. That sounds wrong, so I probably just answered my own question
If I were you I would just check with the person who made said remake to see if you can use it. If they give their consent i would presume that it would be okay to use.
It’s all about consent in which 98% of everyone who remakes someone’s OC would more then likely not give a shit about that design remake being used
I guess I’m that 2% then. I wouldn’t be very happy about someone using my design to their own ends.

If you want to remake that someone else’s OC then sure.
If you don’t want It to be used in a specific way like the splash screen then they’ll have to just respect that decision.
I have same issue with @jack‘s fig lmao. I ended up using splash screen as an excuse for myself to finally work on the rework.
