The character shown there was used as inspiration for Charm, though I don’t recall using him as a reference. What I did use as a reference was a heroforge model I made of him. This character reminded me of an older OC I used to have, and it made me want to revisit it and recycle the thing into a new character

I will say that I used the character from the game as a small reference for this model, but I think I took from some other things too and came up with some stuff on my own
The bell is actually a coincidence, I wanted to give Charm a bell since the old character I recycled possessed one too. The idea didn’t actually come from the game character (still don’t know its name)
This makes my moral grounds a bit questionable, doesn’t it? Truth is, most of my OC ideas come from something else. You’d find that characters like Mellow, Nyaf and Jaxo have all been inspired by a few characters in question. Charm seems to be the one with the most influence though, but I never intended to take too much from this inspiration
I’m currently working (or at least going to) work on another OC related to Charm’s whole thing that follows this kind of philosophy. Taking character ideas and putting a spin on them. I guess you’ll see when you see, though I’ll never tell where I got the idea for them from

Besides, kitsune type characters look plenty alike anyways
I’m 99% sure original design doesn’t exist anymore. Even if you come up with smth on your own, they’re will be that one guy who will find a random ass anime character or such that looks eerily similar
