…And that’s pretty much it. Not a lot of lore because they’re my avatar, lol. The only thing worth noting is that have the ability to manipulate shadows and darkness (hence their title?), which can get really busted if you put a little too much thought in it 👀
But other than that, there’s not much else to add. Next up, I’ll probably be making something for a special someone using this colouring style. Maybe one day I’ll try my hand at creating them in SN.

I recently got kitbashing, any tips or tricks?
I’m still learning myself, but honestly just experiment. It provides a WIDE arrange of opportunities, so the worst thing you could do is limit yourself.
Also, don’t worry at all about the 20 part limit; if you’re getting close to it, then you probably have much more than you need. With this specific model, I’ve reached 11 out of 20, but without the lightning spell it’s only 10, so half the limit. And those 10 parts are pretty much all I’ll ever need for Mell.
So, just experiment, and don’t limit yourself in any way

Zero opacity, colour completely black, use the glow colour exclusively by clicking the cog wheel

I used projected decals (decal kitbashing) to create the cel shaded look (not flat colouring), which IS pro
