Replies like these is why I refrain from saying an animation “isn’t good enough” or “is bad” cause they’re extremely objective takes. I don’t think Ralph chooses spotlight cause he thinks one is better that the other rather I think he chooses them cause they’re interesting or well made or has signs of effort or anticipation put into it. No animation is ‘bad’ but just needs some work or intentional effort put into it.
Also look for less validation from other people and animate cause you want to.

This was a very VERY active day at sticknodes I must say. Scrolling through I saw lots of designs, stickfigures, lore, and much much more, I feel as if though the anticipation of the sprite update has gotten everyone up, antsy, and at it and I’m all for it.
