the issue with a lot of the ideas you have, and many other people even myself, is at a certain point they become *too specific*

parallax, something I added to SN, is on the fringe of this

it’s a feature that, while neat and useful if used correctly, is ignored by a great majority of users or even worse, just adds to a new user’s confusion

like the dismantle/roping thing, shadow and glisten too, they’re useful only for very advanced users and even then, just in specific cases, it doesn’t outweigh the detriment of the clutter it adds to the UI and added complexity of the app, simple=better in many cases

you can thoug – scale it x/y direction is a thing
as for multiple BGs the reason that isn’t a thing (yet, maybe it will be idk) is because images eat up memory very, very fast so having multiple BGs would be an issue
