I’m no expert on the matter but as far as I know if you can monetise your channel and you earn views you can get some money for it.
If you get product endorsement you can earn even more.
There isn’t so much a set way to get popular it’s all just about appealing to the public.
You could upload a Squid game video and that would likely get views depending on what it is entailing. How to get your own channel to grow and be unique isn’t all just following suite to trends, having some level of self-respect and dignity is important also. Upload what you want but making sure it will be appealing and also accounting for trends etc.
