Yeah I agree on that. And you shouldn’t because it’s genuinely trash. I agree on that too, but I feel like you should try to make a good story no matter what instead of not trying with a high budget especially for a fan film

I completely agree, Green Goblins Last Stand is way better😭💔

I’m so pissed off that I just wasted 1 hour, 43 minutes and 45 seconds of my entire life to watch this movie💔
This movie feels like it has been NOTHING but Peter being a jackass to his friends and a literal DYING KID because of him mourning Gwen. I only remember 3 scenes where actual action happens, and its in the literal beginning, and the end. I’m not only pissed off about how boring this movie was, I am also pissed off because they actually made me think this movie wouldn’t be trash at the beginning😭 I’m being so serious when I say this, this movie was so bad, I feel like I could make a better movie with less than 1% of their budget (which was approximately $112,000),and I wish they put more effort into this movie instead of their Spider-Man costume. I would never recommend this not even to my worst enemy, they should have tried harder to make this an actual Spider-Man fan film. If you wanna watch a great Spider-Man fan film, watch Green Goblins stand, its actually really good. But I give Spider-Man: Lotus a score of 2/10

Alr chat, I’ve seen the controversy over this movie, and I’ve decided to see if its truly as bad as everyone says it is. Spider-Man: Lotus is what I shall be watching, and I’ll let you guys know what is my honest opinion about it once I’m finished. Wish me luck bc I’m actually kinda worried abt ts😭😭
-
Chat I’ve been working on this for a lil bit, what do y’all think abt it? I think it took about 3 days bc I was kinda busy with school and other stuff for The Impersonator (finally spring break is here🥹)
Also this is how I would make Batman look in my view to show off the dark knight side of him more

They got my boi going through hella shit 😭 (that’s how u know it’s gonna be fire)
Story of my life
why does the guy on the bottom right look like a young Dr. House
Idek bru💔💔
The lower half of this poster looks so dumb to me, the name sounds weird and the little silhouette of Spider-Man placing his hand on the kids shoulder looks out of place and unnecessarily ominous.
I haven’t seen this fan film ( and I won’t ) but it’s reviews like these and the fan productions themselves that really ruin Spider-Man for me. Especially when we factor in the multiverse hype, which is fine enough. But in the context of having so many spider people, it just ruins the idea that you can still just have one or a few good stories with a few main spider people without having to do a million spin-offs or re-writes.

It’s true, kind of makes you wonder what goes through people’s heads when the writers, directors etc are all like ‘ Yeah, this is gonna be fire, trust me ‘ and then it’s the lamest plot. It’s like directors and writers can’t get a balance between action / to-the-point storytelling and narrative, thematic direction and more nuanced, subtle works that play into the characters emotions and how the story’s events affects the world and the people around it. It’s definitely doable, I think people just rush into it and probably don’t take any criticism.
Iron Lung is a great example of if you set your film up carefully and meaningfully, you can really make something worth watching. It was such a good experience well beyond the boundaries or biasing because it’s markiplier or whatever, because it was genuinely great.
Lol I remember watching the beginning of this film in my server with Manny and a few others. If I remember right, it was so bad we quit and played Gartic Phone instead
I liked the beginning bc it ACTUALLY felt like Spider-Man to me, but it just progressively go worse and worse💔
