Got the idea to (instead of the jet fighter collab [FOR NOW]. I need to practice aircraft animation skills and make a ton of aircraft figures first.) make a small series with the help of whoever wants to help. My current ideas for such a series are
1. UN and some Nation VS “Unnatural Disaster” of some sort (Zombies, Aliens, whatever, so long as it’s interesting and fun, I guess)
2. That one idea I had where the Soviets accidentally release a zombie virus and end up fighting zombies. (Not sure wether to preserve the Top-Down aesthetic that was going to be for the original, or go side view)
@nscmemeber You might want to know this. The Jet Fighter Collab is postponed until I can get all the figures, lore, and such done + improve my skills a little.
( @hypergidra, @demonic, you two may also want to know)
Note: the Jet Fighter collab is not cancelled, just won’t be started until I can set it up more to my liking, I rushed the idea slightly, admittedly.

Just a note that zombies have been done a lot so you should make them really unique in some way so it doesn’t blend in with the rest of the zombie series
Any suggestions? Personally for the Soviets VS Zombies the unique part was going to be that it’s not in America (which seems to be the setting of a lot of Zombie-related media)
I can always also try some other “disaster”
People complain about things always happening in the US but that’s because most of the fictional works are MADE in that country. Nonetheless I think you should just scrap the zombie idea and just go with a different disaster
Yeah that’s fair. Also yeah I know why most fictional works take place in the US, because they’re made there. I just thought some other nation would be cool for a change.
Also yeah fair another disaster would likely be more fun to watch as the same old Zombies stuff does get kinda old sometimes.
I could join whatever you do. I prefer the UN though
Any suggestions for which disaster the UN is involved in? I’m honestly pretty unsure as to what would be cool.
Let’s make a realistic scenario, Say Russia created a super weapon like a mega laser. That can one shot any country. UN special forces are sent to infiltrate the Weapon. UN special forces mange to shut it down after an immense fire fight with 3 battalions of Russian special ops And upgraded soldiers
Decent, but seems a little unrealistic that there would be a country-destroying super laser built by Russia.
Well tweaking fedora’s idea a little could bring some more interesting and realistic results. For example,
Russian ballistic missiles are deployed across the border with Eastern Europe, aimed towards major cities and military installations scattered all across the continent. Escalation of the standoff between NATO and Russian forces could result in a cataclysmic missile exchange that would destroy the entire continent. NATO special forces are dropped deep into Russian Siberia with the goal of taking control of the Russian missile control center near Solnechnogorsk and disarming the missiles from there. Russian Spetsnaz forces retaliate as a result resulting in a intense firefight between the two military forces.
I do quite like your tweak. Of course the original idea was good too, I was mostly just pointing out that the idea of a giant laser seemed odd.
I have one
So, it’s the near future, say 2026. The United States is at war with the Russian Federation. In the air above Europe, the Russian SU-57 Felon and SU-75 Checkmate are underperforming (they wouldn’t be useless but they’d not be as good as expected) when faced with the American F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning II. But reports of entire squadrons being shot down by a Russian fighter squadron with “unidentifiable jets” are rampant. Eastern Europe’s air war is becoming a costly endeavor due to a reported squadron of “Super Aces”. A group of Air Force Ace Pilots are sent into the area where the Russian Aces were last spotted, and sure enough, they end up in combat with a new, almost ace combat-like Russian drone fighter. It’s about as maneuverable as it can be, and it has plenty of features and weapons it can use against the US Squadron. And the series revolves around the hunt for these fighters, the air war over Eastern Europe, and eventually some big conclusion, perhaps a raid on a large Russian Airbase/Drone Factory.
Actually maybe there’s multiple variants to the Drone Fighter across the series. Starting with a basic variant, and the others add on new “abilities” and weapons over time.
You there?
Yeah am here sounds pretty fucking cool but really just sounds like the Ace combat collab
Fair. Though it’d give experience for and also provide some of the needed figures for said collab, and would also provide a hopefully fun to watch experience.
Also I can make a anamtion and you just make it better
Animation is a time-heavy process so it may take me a little while, though.
I say we stick with my original idea and make it like downward’s ghostly version
Hm. Could be good, I was just trying to come up with something that provides both experience and figures for the collab. So like a prelude in a way. Since the collab is a big project, doing something first that’s similar in some ways would be good. It’s like if a novel writer expected to make the next big hit without trying anything in the same genre, I guess.
The 2nd one sounds more grounded and serious and the 1st one? Not so much
But it’s the lore and the story is what actually matters so take your time
Yeah, fair. Tbf to have an interesting story it doesn’t need to be super grounded (look at Star Wars for example. Space Wizards with Laser Swords fight evil Space Wizards who run an interplanetary Empire), but it does typically help
