• I want to make like a simple alternate history top-down Swedish tank pack, but am currently unsure which to do of 3 Swedish tanks that I’ve narrowed it down to, so I’m asking you guys.

    The UDES 15-16

A cancelled main battle tank project, features as the Swedish Tier X medium in World of Tanks. Not really sure much about this thing but it’s kinda cool.

    The Stridsvagn 103 series

The only one of these 3 groups that ever saw service, the Strv 103 has Hydropneumatic suspension, which means it can change the elevation of specific wheels to tilt the hull. It also has no turret. It’s the Tier X Swedish Tank Destroyer in WoT when by its real-life designation it should be a medium/main battle tank.

    Emil/Kranvagn series

A “Heavy Tank” (in reality Early MBT) series armed with a 120mm cannon. Had an oscillating turret (look that up it’s hard to explain in super simple terms). The Emil and Kranvagn were designed in the 50s, btw. (So was the Strv 103, and the UDES 16 no idea).

        The Strv 103?

It might be a little harder to make a fictional variant of (since the Strv103C and Strv 103D exist and are like the 70s-80s variants) but I can damn well try. Only thing I can think of is cramming a low-pressure 120mm and a 20mm RWS on there but I have no idea if it’d realistically fit.

Are you like excited for this pack or something?

Also any suggestion for which out of the 3 to make?

It’s because the one in the picture has a deactivated cannon. They basically stripped it of its ability to fire its 105mm cannon to show it in like exhibits and stuff. An in-service one back in the 60s-70s (when the variant in the picture would have been serving) wouldn’t have the red tip.
