overall effects are on point, if you want to stress the power behind the strike a single frame of some anticipatory pose where dude gets into a locked position with sword prepared to jut forward just prior to the teleport would emphasize it
almost barely visible, maybe even with the assistance of some impact-frame-like color changes

Add inbetween frames and mid-movement frames to convey smoothness and realistic action. Make sure it looks the way you want before you tween it.
