hey hey!!!
instead of writing for market Stalling. (series name drop wogahghwoahgh) and hanging out with my AMAZING girlfriend i’m doing math in my thanksgiving break!!!!
i’m actually having a lot of fun tho so shhhh
6TH GRADE: arithmetic or some shit arithmetic with RATIONAL NUMBERS
uhhh idk :3c
joking!!!
basically uh
think of a fraction!
a rational number is basically just like a fraction, (and ofc, the denominator aka the number below the fraction line is any number but zero) so you have two integers on the top and bottom parts of the line
now onto the math part of itaddition and subtraction is baby stuff
if the denominators are the same you combine or subtract like terms
if the denominators are different, however, there’s this really cool strategy you can use called using LCM otherwise called using the Least Common Multiple
the formula for this is unreasonably annoying and frustrating to look at and I will now torture you with it!!!stupid thing I won’t need later in life jumpscare

if you can decipher this can you please tell me how you did that thanks.
basicallyyyy you can draw venn diagrams
idgi, honestly
BUT
LCM is the smallest number that multiple numbers can divide into evenly (what???)
so you find the multiples of both denominators iirc
then you mark down every multiple that the two numbers have in common in a table
and the smallest common multiple in that table would be your LCMautism

also uh division is multiplying the reciprocal (you flip the numbers of the divisor and multiply by the dividend)
look I don’t understand math
ive been failing for four years
do NOT let me get into an AP math class
wacka finally does something with this group in 2 months
“Um hi yes I ordered the bigmac, not the purger.”
i dont understand, explain it again but with cowboys and outlaws
shoot people and steal their coins
