Into the spiderverse didn’t force animation to evolve, if anything, it just made it worse ! The only thing worse than tweening or a 10 FPS animation, is a variable frame rate one, it just looks like the animation is lagging or is choppy

But style ? That’s the term they should’ve used, I am so freaking bored of the same disney / pixar look, try something different goddamnit !@!1!11!!!11

But I don’t like this blending of 3D / 2D, that doesn’t work

Making a 2D animation look 3D is super impressive

But making 3D animation look 2D ? Bro you’ve just knocked it one dimension down, it simply doesn’t look good ( yes im looking at you noobtel transylvania 3 )

But there is an exception, there always is

If your animation is 3D, but we can’t tell that it is, you’ve done the impossible and deserve an award ( Klaus really impressed me, they’ve knocked one dimension down and still managed to make it look great )

Also, when is 2D animation making a comeback 😠😠😠😠😠
Clearly people like them just as much as 3D, or even more ( see Hyun’s Dojo animations and youtuber’s reaction to them, also anime exist )

A 2D animation film, at 60FPS, that is not an anime, will definitely be a smash hit, and if that isn’t going to happen, I’ll do it myself
