I really would love few improvements to the submission system, especially for creators who upload content like A LOT
submitting a stickfigure feels VERY uncertain. Once a submission is sent, there’s no way to know if it was received successfully, if it’s waiting for review, if it has been approved, rejected, or when it will be published. Creators (Especially ME) are left waiting for days without any feedback, unsure whether their submission is even in the queue.
A creator dashboard would make the process much clearer, showingd the status of each submission, for example;
– Pending Review
– Approved
– Scheduled for Release
– Published
– Rejected (with a reason, if possible)It would be EVEN BETTER to have the ability to:
– Cancel a submission before it’s published
– Resubmit or replace a pending submission without starting over.
– Update an already published stickfigure by uploading a new version while keeping the same download page, instead of having to create a completely new upload.These features would make managing uploads MUCH BETTER, especially for creators who frequently publish new content. More transparency in the submission process would reduce confusion and help creators know exactly what’s happening with their work. Toodles! Can I tag an admin or Developer? Is that allowed here? Point is I really need Ralph or any developer to see this and add it, I’d be very very grateful

@Ralph
Thanks dawg
Dw abt it!
You may need to ping him a couple of more times since he barely responds to anyone’s pings
@Ralph WE NEED THIS UPDATE FOR CREATORS RALPH DO IT PLEASE
While I understand your sentiment, I don’t think it’s something we need.
The only part about it I can agree with is perhaps the confirmation aspect of it, as I’ve also sent submissions before ( or believing I have ) only for it to not appear on the site.
Adding new features takes time aswell and Ralph is the only developer so spending time on a feature that only reassures users isn’t worth the time I’d say. Not to mention that some of the features you listed would be time consuming in itself:
Cancel a submission before it’s uploaded
Kind of pointless if you can have it taken down afterwards or better yet, just don’t submit it.Rejected submission messages
So many users, even if given a good reason will not be happy and still question the rejection, which is understandable as it can be subjective, but for that reason exactly, it wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense to provide a reason anyway. Taking the time to give a reason for a rejection would just make the submission approval work take that much longer considering the sheer amount of submissions.To sum this all up, the submission system is already a lot of work for Ralph and Arcionek to sift through regularly, and most of the issues you’ve mentioned are more of mild inconveniences than anything substantial. I get your stance but the work to reward ratio is way off and I don’t see it being necessary.
I did figure it’d prolly be too much work but I really js need more info on my submissions and their statuses, if some were not added that’s aight, I just need a little more info on my submissions cus they’re always so vague and uncertain
