I dont think a parent should know everything about their kids lives regardless of whether or not it has to deal with sexuality or gender (the only reason parents want to know those things is to abuse their children). Parents that force themselves into your life in ever way are textbook controlling, children are individuals, i know a lot of it is for monitoring your child, and making sure they\’re but thats only okay in moderation, because independence is important for development

Time to actually put in my two cents on this just so I can hopefully make you see things in a different way so you can grow up better than I did in this regard (I used to be actually homophobic, and thought \”wokeness\” was a thing, and a problem)
wokeness, whatever that may be, doesn\’t…exist, it\’s not real. Thinking it\’s an actual thing is silly, because the definition of \”woke\” as I can gather from how it used, is everything pro-gay, is pandering. This is a homophpbic way to look at things, so saying anything is woke is, inherently, homophobic. That doesn\’t mean you saying that is concious homophobia, nor am I calling you a homophobe, but the term itself, is homophobic, and I think using it stems from some sort of homophobic bias that you may not have yknow, confronted, and youre young so thats not unexpected. Things being about gay people isn\’t always a good thing, my peime and really only example of when LGBTQ rep isnt good, is, I don\’t really like forced and underdeveloped LGBTQ+ anything, because it feels like a grab for money. I\’ll admit the ads weord, but its a borderline hentai mobile game ad, that\’s a given. That doesn\’t make the ad pandering, it just…literally because it had nothing else at all, just showed a girl, uh…\”loving(?)\” another girl. This is called a lesbian, they are real. Without any more context, without any more…anything, just because the woman didn\’t want to get with the man, but instead the woman, doesn\’t make the ad \”woke\” or pandering, it just makes it an ad, for a weird anime gacha. Thinking that anything with a woman showing affection or attracrion to another woman, rather than a guy, and calling that woke, is, real talk, incel behavior, and kinda homophobic, whether you mean it to or not. Next time, keep your eye out for actually bad representation, some with some depth and context, and complain about it not because it\’s woke, but because its a poor, cash grabby way to exploit a minority group. This ad was probably just used to exploit weirdos who like lesbians as a fetish.
Ahem, yeah
