in the recent string of departures, i announce my own. this place is boring, put simply, and a lot of the engagement comes from fresh new gremlins who cant read a room each week, or other bullshit drama. have i contributed to drama? absolutely, ive even started some, and i dont intend to deny or shift blame for that. but even the base flow of content is boring, uninteresting posts, with very few gems. i think theres like 3 things ive interested myself in. as for the community at large (discord namely), its largely filled with people who i cant stand.

then theres the owner, the outrage tourist, and an unpleasant unfunny piece of flat wood. i just dont generally want to be a part of something hes created any longer.

my interest in the app as a whole has fallen off, and creatively its not something i want to pursue anymore. so, im done with sticknodes, in both community and as a creative medium.
