Have any of you ever used the website thispersondoesnotexist.com?

Iโ€™m sure some of you have anyway, I was doing it for not particular reason, and started to notice that images with 2 or more people end up having the other (usually off centered) person(s) have odd looking features, the image below for example

Iโ€™m interested any of you know why the AI does this

    • okay, number one, this is my first time on the site and never heard of it

I don’t even get it but if I am to assume these are photos of people who truly don’t exist…I’d guess they take a photo of a person (from the internet) and probably apply some face-changes (similar to Snapchat or Faceapp or w/e) to tweak it

this results in a “new” person, who doesn’t exist (but the original person who was photoshopped, basically, does exist)

when I say “they” I mean some AI, as well – probably scours the internet for faces and applies changes

which can result in deformed secondary faces, as the AI likely isn’t programmed to take into account more than one face

      now, with that being said

      1) this is all a guess

      2) holy shit these 2-people photos are nightmare fuel

leading me to another hypothesis, everything the same, except the AI *does* know how to account for a second face, and deliberately causes this horrific shit on purpose for the memeage
