Story and humor are inapplicable to this animation, so I won’t critique them.
This was pretty bad, unfortunately. The animation itself is pretty choppy, and though there are some interesting uses with the angles of stickfigures as they glide around on 3DM gear, there isn’t much this animation offers. The pacing is also destroyed in this animation, as the fighting happens for 3 seconds and then there’s a 10-second clip of a single dude riding a horse. Dialogue is pretty bad.
There isn’t really a reason to watch this. The animation is ok, but the rest of it isn’t quite enjoyable, and there’s no real reason to even put in the effort to watch 45 seconds of this. There are plenty of better animations to watch than this. Extremely forgettable.
First thing I noticed was the choppy FPS. And the pacing is shredded by just the guy riding the horse. It’s a shot that goes to that guy for far to long and then it is only made worse by the other guy on the horse talking some more. Him alone talking for a second would be okay for pacing. Visually, it’s pretty impressive with the backgrounds and angles. The dialogue shown is also kinda just whatever. There nothing special in it that feel reasonable to pause the action for. Overall, this really is average. Animation is fine, but the entirety of this is just average entertainment.
