Since noone has rated nor commented on this, I shall take the first napkin. Very good visuals, and smooth animation. Story doesn’t make sense, and is kind of out of context if you didn’t see the source material. 4.5/10 baybeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee but what do I know I’m not a professional animation critic

Story and humor are inapplicable to this animation, so I won’t critique them.

First off, I’m a huge Warhammer 40K fan, so even a slight bit of representation in the SN community is awesome. However, unfortunately, every single aspect of this animation that makes it stand out is copypasted from the original source content of Dawn of War III. Normal SN parodies are supposed to take something interesting or original about previous work and put their own twist on it, making it a tribute to the original while also holding some new substance within it. Take the classic “Team Fabulous 2” and the newly made “Team Fabulous 2 Reanimated”. Both have the exact same dialogue and overall movements, but Team Fabulous 2 Reanimated experiments with different ways to present the same content of the original. Unfortunately, this animation copies a lot of overall actions within the Dawn of War III trailer. While that would be ok, it owes its success to the source content rather than creating something new, and I can’t give high praise for that. It’s simply better to just watch the source content. Work was put in, but the overall content is unambitious and plain. It doesn’t help that everything was essentially traced. One can pull that off and still get high praise, but it was traced with lack of new substance or improvement on the original content.

It may not be the entire thing but it is pretty cool looking how the source material is translated into SN with a different style and angles in some areas. Though in terms of designs, I kinda would expect more out of them rather than basic designs for everything used. Animation in this is also solid considering it has to follow the speed of the source material.
