Humor is inapplicable to this animation (as it is not the main focus), so I will not critique it.
This animation is a prime example of a bad series with good movements. It is animated pretty well and the usage of effects is on point, but everything specifically related to the storyline, one of the major things a series is supposed to focus on, is below mediocre.
Pacing is extremely quick, and events just seem to be thrown together for no discernible reason. The plot is essentially nonexistent and there is no cohesive narrative going on. Events happen way too fast with not enough setup. The animation is there, but not much else is. It’s not horribly bad, but it really flops as a series episode.
This to me is like beyond humanity. It had some pretty good movements and cool things, but you are left wondering, who is this character? Or this? What is going on? Movements looked shakey at times though. But they still can get the credit of being well done, but as a series and especially a start to a series, it does not immerse you in it’s world and introduce you to anything. One thing happens then another then another. It’s far too fast and theres no context to things that happen. Backgrounds and overviews of setting are nice, but you don’t know what is going on.
1/5
