All three criteria are applicable to this animation.
This is another “choose your own adventure”, which offers quite a bit of entertainment factor to the animation, but it is still pretty lacking, though it surely is an ambitious project. Unlike the previous “stealth” CYOA, this one focuses a lot more on the storyline rather than the humor, which is unfortunately detrimental to the animation, as the storyline is subpar in quality. The lack of ambient music is also a detriment, and the dialogue could certainly use some major improvements. There still is some aspects of humor, but they aren’t too strong or especially funny, save for the yoink option. With Stealth, it was ok to just let go of taking the animation seriously and just have fun with how wacky and personality-filled it was, but this animation places more chips on the storyline and suffers from a lack of spirit. I would recommend Stealth more than this, it lacks a lot in overall quality.

It’s really difficult to build too much story in cyoa stuff, that’s why most cyoa books are incredibly stupid-
The amount of options given to the viewer make it difficult to build a woven narrative to each and every single option,so it’s often best to limit it.
You’ll probably be happy to know that the next one will be more fleshed out,but probably not still to your liking honestly. XD
As for sounds,I honestly don’t know where to look for those,so if anyone wants to help in that department- 😉

PL Team Slave OwnerLove the concept so much. But theres just a few things the are essential to be fixed. For one, the animation is improved a slight bit but there is a lot of really rough animation. More time could be spent on animation. On the other hand there is a load of sound lacking from this one along with Stealth. Cool little thing about this though is it looks like it kinda is linked to stealth around this little gem thing. But the part that suffers a little bit in this is story. Now taking on this concept of choosing your own adventure will pose some problems in terms of creating a great story as here you have to do it like 3 times over to deal with the different choices. The humor is pretty decent and works with this style since it isn’t exactly supposed to be realistic. But in the story of this, everything is very confusing. Things seems to happen cause plot and it all is just really odd. Visually this is simple but pretty consistent. Nothing amazing but it is average. This overall is kinda average. But I have respect for that concept and that is what carries this one. If animation or just story alone was better, I woul happily give this a 3. Story and animation being really good with more work in sounds? Easy 4/5. There is potential here.

I’m glad you acknowledge how difficult it is to make a compelling story for each choice a person can make and you’re right,it probably doesn’t make the most sense currently.
But it’s not meant too. Yes,this does continue from Stealth and there’s another planned two parts. Where would a good story be without making people think or figure things out?
As far as animation quality, yeah it’s not great. But if I take the time to improve,I may lose interest in this project or forget the story..
Personally I’d recommend reading some cyoa books to further understand how much pain it is. XD
