Story and humor are inapplicable to this animation, so I won’t critique them.
This is another great animation by Joker, but it has its own flaws as well. The dialogue is pretty meh, and the ending feels rushed and anticlimactic. It would be a good ending if properly set up, but it just feels like the energy of the fight finishes off at the end. That being said, the fight itself is pretty great. It has some good consistent pacing, effects are on point, and one could watch this solely for the sword gun shooting scene alone, that is amazing work right there and is a very memorable SN scene. This animation definitely stands out as one of the greatest Joker has ever produced, but it could be more for sure. If lighting and effects were capitalized more and added onto the solid fight scenes and choreography, this would be killer. It stands as a consistent, enjoyable, and cool animation, though it certainly could be more. Regardless, I encourage others to see it for what it is (a fight animation) and enjoy that aspect of it. And the gun sword shooting scene, that’s just so satisfying to see.
This was really enjoyable. The amount of action and the buildup is great to the actual fight. The effects are great while simple but visually theres problems surrounding depth and layering issues are still found. Animation here is done smoothly in some areas but others it’s kinda choppy and odd. But throughout the fight, it remains consistently well done and polished. Real great work here with the angles too.
3/5
