Story and humor are inapplicable for this animation, so I won’t critique them.
This animation has good fighting but lacks a lot of other aspects that would elevate it as a great animation. To start, the fighting in the animation itself is well done, and I really like how they interact with the setting itself in the midst of their fights. Movements are quick, though not as fluid as they could be, and it really is a nice fight. However, the main problem is the lack of variety within it. It really just displays two dudes punching and kicking each other, with the occasional laser blast thrown in by darkboy. Yes, the environment is dynamic in accordance with the fighting itself, but there needs to be more variety in specifically how they punch each other. The fighting is fast and has Vamrack’s signature style, but unfortunately, every punch gives off the same effect. There aren’t any moments where any single punch, in particular, stands out or seems cool. It’s really just slapping two characters against each other repeatedly until one comes out on top. There needs to be more variety. The dialogue is also pretty bad. This animation has a good style to it, but it lacks a lot that could raise its score. There just needs to be more. More fluidity, more variety in attacks, more playing around with the environment, etc. The pacing is pretty alright, but dialogue comes down every now and then to disrupt it. It was enjoyable, but still isn’t the best Vamrack could do.
No it just isn’t the best that ive done. Honestly none that are currently in features are really my best. Just takes so long to actually get a good one out.
I could go back to any Vamrack animation and watch it 4 times over and it wouldn’t lose enjoyment. The fast pace style causes you to miss small details but constantly be glued to your screen. Most animators fail to do fast paced right. Vamrack ain’t one of them. This is just ridiculously enjoyable. Only problems are the edgy dialogue as in only like one line out of all of this and the amount that it leaves you with.
High 3/5

I’d give it a 2/5
Its alot like most well made animations.
Pretty good
It’s alot like the bland boring animations where to dudes slap each other until one falls down. Like every stick nodes animation.
