Ok...
So this anims was suppose to be done yesterday but.... well.... school start again, that a bit sucks.
I'm having fun and pain at the same times while animating this. Took me like 5-6 days (well bc i took 2 days break).
Overall: 4.31 / 5
Visuals: 4.4 / 5

never even watched Naruto so idk who this sword-eating dude is, but the animation of him here really kinda portrays him as a bit…creepy and OP
which is a good thing, very nicely animated and very entertaining even for a non-Naruto-watcher
He be orochimaru
i gathered that from the title, yes
HO HO YOU’RE APPROACHING ME

this isn’t naruto kujo from dragon ball piece?
nah bro its ichigo uzumaki from one punch ball
Go rv
oruchimaru emitting long swords out of his mouth,

how does one train for that
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
him and sasuke train for that :O
Story and humor are inapplicable to this animation, so I won’t critique them.
This is an SN take on the Naruto VS Orochimaru battle, and it is a decent example of how an animation can take a preexisting work and create a battle in reference to it without directly copying or tracing. There are specific moves that this animation and the original work both depict, such as the density chi attack, but this animation does not trace the other and instead depicts the same attacks in its own animated way. There are occasional problems present through the animation, such as the overall camera. The animation does not benefit from the widescreen effect and the close-up camera angles, as it restricts and confines the characters from their environment. In essence, the camera work is too close to the actual fight and not enough is done to define the space between characters. It is important to note that setting is just as important within a fight as the actual punches themselves. Though the attacks may be powerful, the camerawork is critical to actually display them, and no level of power or animation quality can completely succeed without good camerawork. Despite this flaw, this animation succeeds on many other aspects such as overall animation quality, usage of effects, and creative usage of powers. Though the animation is limited by camerawork and lack of dynamic angles, it still functions well as a fight and an animated work, paying homage to the source material through specific moves while taking the fight in a new direction. If one is going to attempt to redo work from popular media by using SN, this would be a good animation to draw inspiration from.
3/5.
Thx for the criticism, ill keep that in mind
PL Team Slave OwnerLooked pretty damn good so I thought for a little bit it was traced. But based on the sound design being a lot of standalone audio rather than all the amount of soundwork put into animes by AAA studios, I believe it’s reasonable to trust Toxic on this on how it’s a recreation and not a trace. By the looks of it, it does take inspiration. The cinematic work is pretty decent. The effects carry an interesting style and it works pretty well. I honesty zoned out though. The animation itself seemed to be missing something. Flow in mwny areas was off then there were areas which has nothing cool going which negatively effected the animation. Random areas that take 3 seconds to get past which contain next to no movement caused me to zone out. If the fighting was more active thoughout this and some unique angles were taken, I would gladly give it higher. Though I’m torn between a 2/5 and a 3/5. But I will give you the benefit of the doubt and give you a 3 since I don’t watch anime for several reasons. It doesn’t interest me. So.
Low 3/5
