Story and Humor are inapplicable for this animation so I won’t critique them.
This is another one of SGA and Rai’s animations where they do joints, and clearly the focus is demonstrating the fight alone. The fight itself is an enjoyable one to watch. It is pretty fast paced, but the pacing is bogged down every time the characters talk. In addition to that, the characters themselves aren’t very interesting in what they have to say, so the fight itself is bogged down by that aspect as well. However, the effects are wonderfully done and really look great. There could be more dynamic and interesting angles taken or different approaches, as this is pretty much a stereotypical “throw powers and punches at people until they die” fight, and there isn’t anything especially creative about the fight, save for some of Armagon’s moves. Despite that, it is a consistent and enjoyable fight to watch, and the quality of the fight is very sound. It certainly has problems that stop it from being ranked higher, but it definitely has solid work in it as well.
While this doesn’t strike me as something unique, it is undeniably well done with constant fighting. The effects are very clean and nice but inconsistent which makes it rather average visually. Especially when there’s lack of setting in this whole thing. Animation, effects, and intensity are all well done here. But the fight itself isn’t that creative and it seems like the same old throw a bunch of powers at the viewer and we got a fight. But, I’d recommend it. It’s above average.
3/5
