Humor is inapplicable to this animation, so I won’t critique it.
It was a small detail but I just want to say, if someone has 14 bones broken in their body (as spiderman apparently did), particularly the torso, they aren’t going to be moving around for quite a while, let alone getting up to eat pancakes.
Overall, this is a 20~minute Spiderman animation that could use work all around. The dialogue itself could use some major improvements, the overall story is rather bland and basic (essentially taking all the spiderman characters and slamming them into each other without providing something new or of quality), the pacing is muddled up, and the action scenes are a bit uninspired and lacking. Every minute of animation should count, and unfortunately, this animation doesn’t make the long runtime count. It needs some significant improvement on many various aspects if there is to be some quality visible.
I know you probably don’t care anymore since this was like a year ago but Spiderman has a much accelerated healing factor. He can heal bullet wounds in 8 hours and things that take weeks to heal can heal for him in just a few hours so thanks to his superpowers, he didn’t have to worry about his ribs.
This is a decent animation but not anything suprising. The animation overall is pretty solid in most parts but the action is all so short lived and ends up being far too fast in certain movements. This really drains the interest and entertainment from this. The pacing is extremely rough and all over the place. Dialogue and events arent very impactful and random. Camera movements are really odd for the most part but for side view restricted action this really does the job well for the most part. Visually the backgrounds don’t have much effort put into them, but they are there and play a roll in the short action scenes that show up every so often. If this is going to be entertaining in the future, the pacing needs to be slowed down, action scenes need to improve and more time should be taken into story writing and dialogue making events more impactful and attention grabbing. But this is certainly one of the better Spiderman animations I’ve seen out there.
