Sonic and Batman get sent to the real world and have to build a portal to escape. Yea. That’s the premise, and it surprisingly is more decent than I expected. It still leaves a lot to be desired and the quality is subpar, but it isn’t as bad as it could have been. For one, the voice acting is actually legitimate and decent, which I did not expect. The dialogue is a bit on the iffy side but is mostly decent throughout the animation. The visuals are decent as well and the animation quality could use some improvements. This is technically a story-based animation, and the pacing is definitely askew in many regards.
Overall, it’s decent. It needs a lot more to be considered good-quality, but it was surprisingly decent and I actually enjoyed it a bit. It’s interesting how the animator took images from real life and managed to make it work with SN. It’s an interesting and ambitious project that could have been pulled off a bit better.
This was quite suprising. Short for a series installment but it’s pretty decent overall. My biggest complaints with this is the visual bugs with the chroma key which results in transparency in all the figures and completely transparent things like sonics irises. There is also problems with how images cut between each other and scenes change which is all post production stuff. In terms of in SN done stuff, we have problems like some odd movements, out of place sounds (walking on wood sound effect when on bed) and some overall pacing. Story is simple but functional with a nice touch of some pretty decent voice acting and overall decent animation. But in the end this is still average. There’s certainly a few things that could bring this up to a 3/5. But for now it is
2/5
