An animation by Profile PhotoThoughtsOfEverything spotlighted on Saturday May 30, 2020

Thoughts and Stew recover from their previously lost battle.

So yeah, here is it episode 3 Part 1.
The reason why there is two parts is because this was going to be nearly 15-20 min long and I did not want to keep you waiting a month or more.

I'm making sure a new episode comes out every 2 weeks or so.

There are humorous elements to the animation, but it isn’t directly focused on comedy, so I won’t critique humor.

Overall, this is a decent series episode, but it lacks quite a bit in terms of overall quality. The dialogue actually doesn’t have grammatical errors, so it’s already in the top 20% of series animations in that regard, but many parts of the dialogue are awkwardly written and delivered between characters. There is a lot of “main character edge” going on here as well, which is slightly understandable considering the recent events, but it becomes a problem when this is the only aspect that defines the character. The villain (The SN Demon) is also scripted badly and doesn’t really convey a sense of dread as any other villain would. There isn’t much action, which is understandable, but some sort of substance needs to replace that, and the substance which does (the dialogue and conversations between characters) is somewhat lackluster. It ultimately falls short, but there is definitely potential for something here.

2/5.

First off, the story here is quite interesting. The only problem I have is that the dialogue feels forced and odd. Some of it doesn’t quite make sense and then theres some of it that is pretty okay. There’s very few grammatical errors in the dialogue which is nice. The animation in this is odd in some areas and lackluster in others. The scene in the car is perfect. The background is shown well, in fact visuals are done well all around. Camera placement isn’t irritating but some of the background quality is a little bit of a problem. But far better than the majority of other series. Humor in this is subtle but quite great. Some of it could be executed better, but their jokes that don’t age. This is a series with a lot of potential. Just some tweaks are needed and some additional time should be taken. Though I did see the future episode scripts and thry are pretty good compared to these episodes.
