really enjoyed this because of its simplicity, not a lot of talk/plot but there’s just enough talk/plot to have a story, good payoff action scene in the end, and 10/10 movieclip usage
fake demon is fake but oh well
Visual do be looking nice
Story is good but fake
Humor is almost non-existent
I watched again just in case there was humor I missed hope visuals good it was fun to watch and had a little sadness to it story is good it’s an on going stick nodes thing so well it benefits the story
Only problem is that fake ass demon

A neat usage of movieclips during the traintop battle scene, despite being more fight than talk, just the small bouts of talking here and there already explain the context and ongoing story, so credits to that.
Though, the movement is a little odd and choppy at times and much of the scenes lack sounds that could add alot to the situation.
Nonetheless, 4/5, an impressive job, the series has big potential.
also, trying out some gif thumbnails to make checking out anims more enticing
is a pain to make properly so won’t do for all spotlights but every now and then
i like the way this one ends lol

PL Team Slave OwnerHumor is subtle, and I love it, it doesn’t intrude on the story for once. It’s perfectly done. The story too does a good job of putting things together in a unique manner. It treats it like a puzzle that puts itself together over time, but the viewer will predict what will happen. It makes things more impactful too. Visuals aren’t too special, but I gotta give credit to all the different settings that are put together and how dynamic some of the scenes where. Some grade A stuff there. Overall though, this does its job of pulling the viewer in and making things interesting really quick. One thing though, I would recommend bringing some characters personalities forward quick.
Love the review. On Episode 3 I don’t know if you saw the teaser but I am paying more attention to the characters personalities. I’ve been asking people what their character like etc. But next episode will be paying more attention to emotions.
