Because this is a trailer, story and humor are inapplicable to this animation, so I won’t critique them.
Overall, the transitions of this animation are well-done, but unfortunately, the trailer doesn’t provide enough quality to be exceptional. There are well-done moments, such as Ralph appearing out of the screen, but the animation suffers from 2D perspectives and not adding dynamic angles into the mix. In addition, being pulled into the SN world isn’t as exciting as it could have been presented, and the background being simply white did not help the overall shock factor of the event. Plus, ralph talking at the end put a dent on the overall wordless presentation of the trailer and doesn’t grant any benefits to the overall trailer. It is decent in animation quality, but it lacks a bit in order to be effective. The trailer just presents the beginning of the series itself rather than tease at what happens all throughout it.

This looks like a pretty cool concept still. And I find the complex look of reality and the simplicity of the SN universe someone is pulled into a cool little touch. The animation is pretty decent but a little janky at the same time. Nothing special. There’s some cool transitions in this too. Pretty solid trailer. But it doesn’t provide too much.
