Humor is inapplicable to this animation, so I won’t critique it.
Egads. This wasn’t too good of a start for a series. At least it was short.
The animation itself is decent. Movements are fluid, but that can really just be accredited to tween. The real problem here is the actual story and pacing. It’s abysmal. Characters are introduced way too soon with not enough setup. The main bad guy is literally a recolor of Gemini, and it’s pretty edgy. There isn’t a feasible story except “stop the bad guy” and that’s it. The story and pacing are just all over the place. This animation would normally pass off as a 2/5, but since this is supposed to be a series and the story is just that bad, it has to go lower. The animation is smooth, and if you enjoy only watching that, you may like this. Don’t expect much from storyline or pacing though, because this one suffers from a lot of those problems. It wasn’t unenjoyable, but it just is really bad as a series episode.

PL Team Slave OwnerUnfortunate that this couldn’t be rolled out more to be more polished. But unfortunatly I remember you losing progress on this all of it for that matter and you just didn’t want to bother too much with that all over again. As a first episode though, this was rough. It felt like PL: Episode 1 except instead of too slow and padded out, this was too fast and leaves you with too little of information. Theres also no buildup to the first contact with thw enemy in the series. Theres just so much missing, it ends up being average. But the detail in the backgrounds and the characters is very commendable considering how uncommon that all is.
