this is legit a funny ass way to use SN, for random-ass story times
the humor and side gags with the quick witty cutaways and all that 10/10 would laugh again
you got a good flow for storytelling, do more

pragnart !?
All three criteria are applicable to this animation, so I will critique them.
This is a storytime animation made with no prior knowledge of what makes a good storytime animation. The pacing is off, the animation quality itself is lackluster and could use significant improvements, but the main drawback is actually the main focus: humor. As it turns out, spamming loud noises, bass boosting your voice, and overacting does not create quality. There’s an art to perfectly cut screams (the good ones at least), there’s a technique to it, and this storytelling animation is fundamentally without technique. The line between cringe and ironic comedy is a blurred one, but this animation sees no line at all and embraces that cringe, which would almost be admirable if the end product wasn’t, well, this. Unfortunately in its current state, I can’t recommend it, and it has a significant lot to improve upon.
1/5.
D-damn man.
the simon cowell of stick nodes
Hello,
Thanks for the feedback, I am grateful that you gave me your honest opinion about my video. But here’s some things.
1- this is my first time doing this type of animation so I will improve and will gain a huge audience
2- I’m sorry, but I felt a little bit of salt towards your “honest remark” I appreciate it but just because it wasn’t what you were expecting it dosen’t give you the right to insult it, (By calling it cringe.) so honestly calm down bucko.
3- you probably aren’t going to reply to this and that’s fine. That’s my lecture straight to you! I hope there’s no salt between us!
King regards to you princess toxic.
Tomi.
G’day! I appreciate that you’ve taken my critique of your work well, just dropping by here to clarify.
1) It’s completely understandable that this is the first time you’re engaging in this type of content. We all do not start off completely perfect, so aiming to improve and continue on is an admirable decision.
2) I apologize for the potential confusion my critique may have caused, but I was in no way meaning to insult the animation. I did not state it was cringe, but that it embraced animation/storytelling techniques that could be considered cringe-like. There are certain techniques that can be analyzed through a lens of objective quality/error, and I analyzed it as such and came to a conclusion through the critique. I didn’t view the animation with different expectations, instead I viewed and critiqued it for what it was and what it could improve upon.
3) Of course, no hard feelings in the slightest! I’m simply here to critique animations with a level of objectivity, and I appreciate that there is no quarreling as a result of it.
Cheers!
Hey,
Heheh! Thanks! My next video will prove a lot of you guys wrong! Stay tuned! (Because I’m good at proving people wrong.)
King Regards.
